Everything You're Probably Wondering
What is GLöD?
GLöD is a Swedish running brand for women and men, founded by Ana and Klas Kristiansson and based in Täby, just north of Stockholm. Right now we sell analogue running products: wall posters for logging your running or training year by hand, and organic cotton tees that come with a marker so you can write on them. Our first technical running collection, nine styles for women and men built around natural and cellulose-based fibres, launches on 16 March 2027.
What can I buy from GLöD right now?
Two wall posters and three write-on tees:
- My Year In Runs: a running log and calendar poster, from €35
- My Active Year: a habit tracker poster for any kind of training, from €35
- U Memories Light Tee: unisex, Heather Grey, €69
- W's Story Mid Long Sleeve Tee: women's fit, Natural Raw, €79
- U Write Me Heavy Long Sleeve Tee: unisex, Natural Raw, €89
Posters cost €35, €45 or €55 depending on size. The tees are a small first batch, so sizes do run out.
What is the My Year In Runs poster?
A running log you hang on the wall. Twelve months run across the top and days 1–31 down the side, so every day of the year has its own box. Colour in a box when you run, using your own key for long runs, intervals, hills, tempo, easy runs, races or rest. It's undated, so you write in the year and start on any day. It ships blank and unframed.
What's the difference between My Year In Runs and My Active Year?
My Year In Runs is made for runners: the key at the bottom is set up for run types such as long run, intervals, hills, tempo and race. My Active Year uses the same grid for any kind of movement: running, walking, biking, yoga, gym, swimming and rest. Same sizes, same prices, same paper.
Should I buy the cm or the inch version of a poster?
It's the same poster in different sizes. The cm version comes in 30×40 cm, A2 (42×59.4 cm) and 50×70 cm, which are common frame sizes in Europe. The inch version comes in 12×16″, A2 (16.5×23.3″) and 20×28″, for frames sold in inches, for example in the US. A2 is identical in both. Prices are the same: €35, €45 and €55.
Do the posters come framed?
No. They ship unframed and blank; the colours in our photos are an example. Fill them in with coloured pencils or fine-tip markers, and test a marker in the margin first.
What are the write-on tees made of?
All three are made on Stanley/Stella blanks in 100% organic cotton (woven, dyed and sewn in Bangladesh), printed by GLöD, and each comes with a marker.
- U Memories Light Tee: 150 gsm, 100% organic ring-spun combed cotton, unisex medium fit, XS–XL, Heather Grey
- W's Story Mid Long Sleeve Tee: 180 gsm, 100% organic ring-spun combed cotton, women's medium fit, S–L, Natural Raw
- U Write Me Heavy Long Sleeve Tee: 240 gsm, 100% organic open-end carded cotton, unisex relaxed fit, S–XL, Natural Raw
Wash at 30°C with similar colours, inside out. Don't bleach, tumble dry or dry clean. Iron inside out, and never iron over the print or your writing.
How long does delivery take, and where do you ship?
Posters are printed to order by our print partner and usually take 2–5 business days to produce before they ship. Tees ship from Täby, Sweden. We deliver to Sweden, the EU (except Germany, for now), Norway, the UK, the US and Canada. If you order a poster and a tee together, they arrive in separate parcels. Delivery times and costs for your country are on our shipping page and at checkout.
Can I return something?
Yes. You have 14 days from delivery to change your mind (the EU right of withdrawal). Email hello@glodactive.com or use the withdrawal link in our footer. If something arrives damaged or faulty, send us a photo and we'll sort it out. A tee that has already been written on or washed can't be resold, so we may reduce the refund to cover the loss in value. Details are in our returns policy.
When does the GLöD performance collection launch?
Our first technical running collection launches on 16 March 2027. It has nine styles: four for men and five for women, including a sports bra. Sign up to our newsletter to hear about it first.
What will the performance collection include?
Running bottoms such as tights and half tights, running tops, and a sports bra for women, with separate fit blocks for women and men. We'll share the final styles, materials and prices closer to launch.
What materials will GLöD use?
We're building the performance collection around fibres such as lyocell, merino wool and modal, blended with elastane where a garment needs stretch and recovery. Fabric choices aren't final yet, because we're still testing. At launch, every product page and Digital Product Passport will list the exact fibre composition, the factory and the country where it was made. Our current write-on tees are organic cotton.
Is GLöD for women or men?
Both. The performance collection launches with women's and men's styles at the same time, each on its own fit block. Two of our write-on tees are unisex and one has a women's fit.
Is GLöD only for serious runners?
No. GLöD is for anyone who runs: three times a week around the park, marathon training, or mountain trails at the weekend. We care this much about fit, materials and construction because every runner should get kit that works, whatever their pace, distance or experience. If you run, this is for you.
Who is behind GLöD?
GLöD was founded by Ana Kristiansson and Klas Kristiansson. Ana leads design and product development, and Klas leads engineering, IT and e-commerce. The company behind GLöD is Krissco AB in Täby, Sweden. Read more on our About page.
What does GLöD mean?
Glöd is Swedish for embers, or glow: the heat that keeps burning after the flames have died down. We chose it because that's what running is like for most of us. Rarely dramatic. Mostly a steady, stubborn fire that gets you out early, in the rain, on the days when motivation is low and the run happens anyway.
