Birkebeinerløpet is the running member of the Birken family, run from Sjusjøen to Lillehammer on mountain and forest tracks. The main race is 21 km and the 2027 edition is on 12 June. The same programme also offers HalvBirken over 12 km, the Birken mountain marathon over 42 km and UltraBirken over 60 km. Pick your distance, then train for the terrain.
